Give it a thought

Mark 13:35 (NKJV)

Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cock-crowing, or in the morning:

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall!

Early this morning, I was outside the house carrying out an assignment, along the line I had a thought, a thought that led to some series of questions.These were the questions that came up in my
mind;

What will Jesus Christ find me doing if He was to pay me an unexpected visit? Where will He find me? What will be the condition of my heart towards God at that point in time?

I will like you to ask yourself these same questions and many more, it will help you retrace your steps if you have missed it, it will also help you picture the direction you are heading to.

See the need to give yourself a thought, for it is time to think about what you are thinking about. Do not get deceived by the tricks of the devil; for he is the father of all liars, as a roaring lion, he walketh about seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8)

Yes, salvation is free; but the standard of Heaven is high. Do not glory yet, do not think you've made it when there is more way to go through. It takes the grace of God to finish strong, and only God Alone can do it for you. Don't abuse this grace; do not neglect Him in good and bad times, trust in Him always, be close to Him, give Him a listening ear, for He knows the best for you and He want to see you succeed in this world.

Desire God now that you are alive, work for him with the strength He has given to you, don’t let your atmosphere be smoke-filled, curse-saturated, filthy-joking, beer-drinking crown, but let it be the House of God with hands uplifted, loving, praising and worshiping the one who created you with all sincerity. As you give a thought to this, I pray for you this day that God will enlighten your vision, and cause you to desire Him the more in your day to day life, in Jesus name. Amen.
