A Time for Everything

By Unknown
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (NIV)
1) There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: 2) a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, 3) a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, 4) a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, 5) a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain, 6) a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, 7) a time to tear
and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, 8) a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

It has always been my desire to work for God, it has always been in my spirit to spread the good news about Christ to those who are unsaved through the use of bulk SMS, internet (blog, social network, media etc), but each time I try to kick off, something always obstruct my move, I find myself deviating to other activities. Maybe it wasn’t the right time for me to kick off, hence I lay them aside. I understood it wasn’t the right time to start off, and I knew the right time was coming.

Our opening scripture says “there is time and season for everything”. It is important that we know the right timing for something before embarking on it. We should know the right season before putting our resources into it. It is often said that he who fails to plan, plans to fail.

The main reason why many people fail in life is because they embark on different journey at the wrong time. So many businesses, marriages, including relationships have been destroyed because of wrong timing.

We shouldn’t forget that doing the right thing at the wrong time, is doing the wrong thing and in so doing, better result won’t be achieved. In any plan we are making in life, we should devote time to study the time and season of that particular thing we are planning for.

Being too forward or rushing up things will not make it more successful, instead it will worsen it, Like a fruit picked green or a flower plucked before it blossoms, our attempts to rush God's timing can spoil the beauty of His plan for our lives.

I understood the right time for this blog to begin, I understood it was the right time to spread the gospel around via this means, I understood that there is a time to be silent and a time to speak, this is the time to speak out God’s word to the unsaved, this is the time I have been waiting for.

As you go through the updates of this blog, make God cause you to understand the right timing of everything you will embark in this life in Jesus name. Amen.
